Yamini - The Other Side of Every Girl

I have talked to a great length about Jessie. Now, we would look deeply into Yamini, Jessie's opponent.  Yamini..to describe her, she is nothing special. She might not be the hottest, she is just a common girl. Perhaps, you could find her waiting for bus by roadside. Yamini is not the type of girl whom guys might fall at first sight. Palaga Palaga Pidikum type (guys might develop liking for her more gradually instead), haha.

Yamini is Yamini for many of her own reasons. Yamini, is motherly, as she treats her guy more like a child. She just let him kicks her. Maybe, Yamini could opt to leave and become Jessie, if Kartik changed before their marriage. Maybe,the need to save her marriage, broughts out the greatest endurance out of herself. I admit, this is great as most girls are knocking the door of divorce for even small misunderstandings.

Why Yamini becomes Yamini?



- As affection grows deeper into love, Jessie becomes Yamini.

- When Jessie starts to see the childly behavior of her man, when Jessie realizes his emotional instability, Jessie realizes his loneliness and his call for assurance, Jessie might decide to risk herself and becomes Yamini.

- Yamini, has unrealistic expections at times, that her spoilt man can change with her love. It is neither possible nor impossible, it depends on the guy himself. Not every guy will be like happy-ending Kartik. And some Yamini has to remain Yamini till their last breath, unfortunately.

- A Jessie might deny you for many reason, but for once if she decides to be your Yamini, she will be one, against all the obstacles. It can just take a second for Jessie to be Yamini but it will be like forever for Yamini to be Jessie, once she had made her mind to be there for you.

How to find your Yamini?



- If you flirt, if you're desperate into relationship, Yamini might not even get close to you. Yamini knows that you're just looking around.

- Even if you're pakka descent, Yamini might not necessarily chose you. Not if she don't feel the need of her presence in your life.

- What if you're pakka local rowdy ? Mestilah Yamini rejects at once, if you think so, it can be wrong. Yamini searches for your heart, if she finds it comfortable, she will never let you go.

Yamini's characterisctics:


- Never let her man down physically:

Performs chores for him, prepares his breakfast, wash and iron his shirts,prepares your shirt for work, sew it when it's torn, if she doesn't prepare his lunch, she will call him up to ask if he has taken his lunch, prepares his dinner, massage him after a tiring day and fulfills his sexual need if they're married.

- Never let her man down emotionally

Will provide assurance for his plans,will let him to show anger on her and does not take it as big deal, will fight with him to maximum limit but never leaves him, will even use 4-letter words in private arguments but will apologize for her misdeeds as she care for his feeling, Might 'merajuk' with her man but never to the extent that he has to knee down to beg.

- Never let down of her man's dignity :

Will let her man to pay, even if it's actually her money. Will not stand anybody who underestimates her man, may it be her own mother. Will work on whatever she can towards his success. Will never brought his manly dignity down under any circumstances. She will not let him to do house chores in front of friends or relatives. Even if she's highly educated, she will willingly, abide to him, at least in presence of third person.

- Always pray for his well-being

Yamini never fails to pray for her man, even if he's a villain. Even if he is misbehaving all the way, she only thinks of nurturing him. The whole world could her as being stupid but she knows what she is doing. She sees him as a child, who is unaware of his misdeeds. Of course, every Yamini secretly yearns that her man will change one day.

Yamini's Verdict


Yamini, is the perfect example of how much a woman can endure for her man. How many men does that? Love failure creates either Devdass or playboy, girls are blamed for both. Yamini cares you physically, but did her you care for her physical need instead of toying her for his need? ( from food, comfort to sex) Yamini care you emotionally, but did you mind to care for her emotions ( At times, you don't even say sorry as you feel it is against your manly ego) Yamini cares for your dignity, but did you perform the same (You let your mum and sister to abuse her), Yamini cares for your well-being, did you care for her happiness ? (You smoke, drink and sleep with other women, you're just self-centred).

What Yamini wants from you?



- You don't have to call her, sayang, baby, honey, etc. Simply, 'Sapthiya?', even without mentioning the name, is seriously enough.

- You don't have to buy her Kenny Rogers, but just a plate of char keow teow, with your hard-earned money, that is more than enough.

- You don't have to buy her a diamond ring, but just a nail polish with your own money, that is ample.

- You don't have to pretend to shower care by asking every moment, if she has eaten, but a word of scold for her attitude of not eating, will be more meaningful for her.

- You don't have to say 'I miss you' every one second, but just say 'i'm sorry' when you're drunk, that's very much soothing for her.

- Yamini might not ask you to buy her anything, but will be the happiness if you bought even a pin for her, under your own intention.

Yamini is not a fool, but she will do all this once she has made her mind to be with this man of her choice. You can find Yamini in almost any girl, but of course your effort determines either you get a Jessie or  a Yamini. Sometimes, chemistry plays a role too. At times, things just work magically between two person, at another time, it doesn't work no matter how hard you try. Yamini is not merely fantasy, she exists within every woman, but it takes the right man to unveil the hidden character.Remember, terms and conditions apply! Nobody is perfect and so perfect Yamini, as in Mayakkam Enna is a fantasy.Love is a subjective matter, every woman showers their love differently. Smile, advice, pray, yell, nag, slap, hug, kiss...all is LOVE. It just takes the right heart to see. The right man does see what a wrong man failed to see.

Recently I have come across on an interesting debate regarding Jessie Vs Yamini. Of course, the guys opt for Yamini. Jassie, sort of like become 'The Guilty One', since she decided to let go of her boyfriend. Who is Jessie ? Who is Yamini?

1. Vinnai Thandi Varuya :

Kartik fells for Jessie at first sight despite she's of different religious background. He tried his best to win her. Jessie is a typical family girl and perhaps conservative too. Common plot, she avoided him for some time. Yeah, you're right. At the end, she admitted of having feeling for him. Then, our hero decided to fly for career, leaving our Jessie into her own family controversy. Having her family compelling for marriage with a guy of her family's choice, she's in dilemma. She tried to talk to Kartik, but our hero perhaps does not take it seriously. Not his fault though, he was in the midst of his career's peak. And Jessie, in family vs Where-is-Boyfriend-when-I'm-in-Trouble situation, chosed her family. And that's how Jessie was hated by everyone.

2. Mayakkam Enna :

Another Kathik hero, a freelance photographer met a girl called Yamini, and they developed some special bonding which had successfully ended in marriage. Anyway, instead of happily ever after, their marriage became a disaster, at least for Yamini. Kartik was heartbroken after being cheated by a friend, who stole his photographs and misused them for his own glory. More accurately, Kartik became alcoholic and insane. He started to torture Yamini in all aspect. Beyond all the disrespectful treats she obtained, she continued to be by Kartik's side. She never let him down by bit. However, Kartik's behaviour wasn't any improving, and he broke her heart to pieces. Even so, she only stopped talking to him and continued performing chores for him. Secretly, she even posted his photographs to many magazines, which one of them successfully brought good name for Kartik. Finally, Kartik's dream became true and he was all the way thankful to his wife. That is how Yamini became every guy's dream wife.

The debate :

Girls like Jessie plays with guys heart. Girls like Yamini, are preferred. but claimed to be the rare species. Every guys dream for Yamini, but are they equally being the 'male' version of Yamini ? Some guys possess too high ego of being man. They can do whatever they like, including sleeping with other girls for fun but their wife must be super loyal, can't even look at another man. What a crap! Your girlfriends are not meant to be your slaves.Treat your girlfriend like your bestie, and see what she gives you in return. Love demands equality, that's when it lasts. Sometimes, chances are there for you guys to reform yourselves, at least from those inappropriate behaviours, but did you actually cared? That's why Jessie forms. And if men continues to be ignorant, even Yamini can become Jessie.

Why Jessie ? And why Yamini ?

Both Jessie and Yamini are within every girl, which of them emerges, is yet very dependent on the situation.

Why Jessie becomes Jessie?



Every girl is prone to opposite attraction. If a guy claims to like her, and showers constant care on her, despite of his real intention, she will actually miss him when he's not around. All girls secretly yearns for attention and praises. This feeling could be mistaken as love, when it is only affection. Yes, affection is a good starting for love but affection might not necessarily last. Whether it becomes love or hatred, it really depends on the guy and how he treats her. In the midst of affection, a girl will also be secretly evaluating you. The main issues here are like 'how much she can depend on you', 'how safe it is to be by your side'. Demands varies with girls, some prefers financial stability, others prefers emotional stability. Let me eloborate it:

- Every girl needs material stability



It is wrong to think that girls only want your property. A girl who loves you for real, will not crave to loot awat your properties. On contrary, she will try her best to initiate you to accumulate wealth for your own goodness. She will not spend your money unnecessarily. Her glory is never in falling for a rich man, but to in making her man to become prosperous in all aspect. If your Jessie-girlfriend left you for rich guy, maybe because you failed to provide material stability. You don't have to own a Merc, but at least if you're saving for a FLX, your real girlfriend will see your effort, and of course be proud of your attempt. You don't have to own house, but if you own a serious intention to get a house in future, your girlfriend will be there to support you.

-Every girl needs emotional stability



Guys often talk about how deeply girls have hurt you. Do you know that many of your species are playing equal tricks on girls ? It is not wrong for you to like a girl but it is wrong to play with her feeling. How you do that? You're sort of trying your luck on her, no sincerity. Go deeply after a girl, only if you're sure that you want to be in serious relationship with her. Be friends first, propose later if you really like her. You don't have to give fake hope to her by instantly announcing her as your girlfriend or wife or whatever. Even if a girl claims not to like you, if you on calling her girlfriend or wife, you're instilling hope in her. This is dangerous, because your stubborn attempt creates Jessie. She might think she's in love with you when she is in affection with your sweet words. If your Jessie-girlfriend left you over a better guy, maybe because you failed to weave emotional stability although you managed to create the physical charm. The main reason is maybe Jessie felt you more like a stranger, especially when you failed her evaluation on certain aspects such as trustworthiness, care, sincerity, dependence and security. Maybe your intention is never such, but what can I say? You failed her evaluation as you let her down when she needs you the most. Every girl is understanding and forgiving, but have you made an attempt to explain? That's how you lose Jessie! Remember, actions speak louder than words. A hug means a lot more than a 'I Love You'.

Jessie's Verdict

All a girl needs are protection, care and security from her man. Material stability and emotional stability will further enhance the secured feeling. Every girl deserves to walk away from the Mr.Wrong. Jessie will have to live forever with Kartik, and maybe deep inside she knew that she might not be Yamini-type, a strong woman with high endurance. Jessie-like woman knows well that nobody can be changed without their own will. If she's willing to play a role, it is still nothing without the guy's contribution. Best concept in falling in love, accept the person the way they are, if you can't, then they're not the one for you. You will be wasting your whole life with a hope, that 'One Day My Man Will Change'. Jessie can still be Yamini of someone else, someone who deserves her better, who appreciates her better.
